Since the recent and welcomed rains, Lantana Water has seen firsthand how water delivery near Austin tapers off with customers on previously low producing wells.  Also, customers with rainwater collection systems need less supplemental water in their cisterns.   See the link below to learn the benefits of catching rain. http://texaswater.tamu.edu/rainwater

Lantana Water provides bulk water delivery to customers in need, but respects the restrictions set forth by the nearby municipality.  For needs other than drinking water, we limit our watering hours and days to the same guidelines.  Marble Falls recently enacted restrictions described in the link below. http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/local/hill_country/marble-falls-orders-stage-2-watering  

The State of Texas passed a bill supporting the use of rainwater harvesting systems. Lantana Water often supplies secondary or starter water to collection cisterns, and frequently recommends the use of harvesting systems to people whose wells are dry.

Lantana Water has responded this summer to thirsty landowners and livestock in the Spicewood and Marble Falls areas.  As wells begin to produce much less water than ever before, water delivery to the area is becoming the only option for immediate relief.
